Shougang Concord Century Holdings Limited was founded in Hong Kong in 1984, and it was listed on the main board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong in April 1992 with the stock code of 103. Main shareholders include Shougang Holding (Hong Kong) Ltd. and its main holding companies, NV Bekaert SA and Li Ka Shing Foundation Co., Ltd.

Shougang Concord Century Holdings Limited has for years been focusing on developing and expanding business in the field of metalware, gradually bringing into shape a business framework composed of three parts -- radial tire steel cord, sale, manufacturing and trade of copper and brass materials, as well as steel wire incision with solar power. In 1994, Jiaxing Eastern Steel Cord Co., Ltd. was founded.
