Five Standards in China Rubber Industry Approved by MIIT

On October 17, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China (MIIT) published 811 industrial standards (No. 52 Announcement in 2013), in which 5 standards including Light V-belt for Agricultural Machinery were involved in rubber industry. All of the standards will be implemented on March 1, 2014.

It is applicable to V-belts for machinery such as rice combine harvester, mini cultivator and garden machine.

 

HG/T 4494-2013

Poly V-belt for Industry

It is applicable to circular poly V-belts (excluding elastic poly V-belts) for transmission of all kinds of industrial equipment.

It is not applicable to poly V-belts for transmission of automobile.

 

HG/T 4558-2013

Sulfur Powder for Rubber

It is applicable to sulfur powder for non-oil-extended rubber.

 

HG/T 20677-2013

Design Specifications for Chemical Equipment of Rubber Lining

It is applicable to chemical equipment made of steel and cast iron with rubber to resist technical media corrosion and abrasion as well as rubber lining of pipes and pipe fittings, which is also applicable to design, manufacture, inspection and acceptance of rubber lining of composite lining equipment with rubber as isolation layer.

Heavy Calcium Carbonate for Rubber Industry

It is applicable to heavy calcium carbonate for rubber industry with calcite, marble or limestone as raw materials obtained through grinding and active heavy calcium carbonate for rubber industry obtained through surface treatment. This product is used as filler in rubber industry.
