On June 15, the first China Green Tire Safety Week officially started in Dalian, with the theme of “Eco-friendly & Drive Safety”. This was the first large-scale public benefit activity held by China Rubber Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as CRIA). On the launch ceremony, main domestic and foreign tire producers and raw materials producers launched Proposal for Launching China Green Tire Safety Week Activity. CRIA hoped, through long-term implementation of this activity, to popularize green tire concept and tire safety knowledge in the whole society and advocate automobile man- ufacturers equipping with green tire and consumers using green tire, thus promoting China green tire to develop in the consumption level; and to promote the implementation process of China Tire Labeling System, hoping to reach the set threshold for green tire in the future. Meanwhile, relevant government departments were attracted to pay attention to the development of China green tire and to promote the upgrading of China tire industry.
