Automation, informationization and intelligentization were popular in rubber enterprises. Some tire enterprises initiated “Industry 4.0” in newly-built projects and implemented automa- tion, informationization and intelligentization in technical im- provement projects to improve the process and equipment level and lead the intelligent development of rubber industry. Some enterprises in rubber hoses & belts, cycle tires, reclaimed rubber, rubber chemicals, etc. also implemented automation and intelli- gentization reform. With the implementation of new environment protection law, rubber chemicals industry actively responded and realized up-to-standard release through introducing new technol- ogies and strengthening end-of-pipe control. To solve the prob- lem in treatment of high salinity waste water, major enterprises introduced MVR desalting technology and adopted energy-sav- ing equipment to realize separation of salt and water, with the cy- clic utilization rate of waste water reaching 90%; popularized the cleaner production technology, thus the oxygenating technology of multiple accelerator products realized industrialization and the benefit of environmental protection was remarkable. The com- prehensive utilization of waste rubber industry put forwards that “three small items” and non-environmentally-friendly coal tar with great potential safety hazard would be eliminated during the “13th Five-Year”; the desulfurization process would be changed and the problem of “three wastes” pollution would be solved.
