With the fast development of the Chinese auto industry, the traffic, logistics and other careers get stronger day by day, resulting in increasing demand for radial tires. Kenda Rubber (China) Co., Ltd. intends to select a site on the south of Kun- jia Road in the current plant (located at 2 Kunjia Road, Kun- shan Development Zone) to invest and build a project with annual output of 2.31 million units of all-steel radial tires.
After expansion, the newly expanded area is 500mu, on which the croplands and scattered granges are to be removed. According to the project plan, the banburying workshops in the old plant will be moved to the site of the expansion pro- ject.
Kenda Rubber (China) Co., Ltd. is an exclusively for- eign-owned enterprise built by Kenda Industries Co., Ltd.
through Kenda Global (Cayman, Britain) Holding Co., Lim- ited established on March 25, 1994 with registered capital of USD 70 Million and total investment of USD 165 Million. Covering an area of 494,800 m2, it has 2,800 employees at present, including 1,950 technicians and field operators. Now there are more than ten production lines such as auto tires, engineering tires, motorcycle tires and bicycle tires, and the annual output is over 58 million units.
