Double Coin and Other 4 Enterprises Won Bidding in Guangzhou Military Region Tires Purchase Project

According to the bid winning announcement for vehicle tire purchase project released by Guangzhou Military Region Armaments Department on December 21, 2015, five enter- prises including Double Coin won the bidding for 10,340 tires upon evaluation and verification of bid evaluation com- mittee.

There were total 47 items for this public bidding, includ- ing over 12,000 tires, while there were 31 items of successful bidding for 10,340 tires. Double Coin Holdings Ltd. won the first place with 27 bids, becoming the biggest winner. Triangle Tire Co., Ltd. and Fujian Giti Tire Cooperation won the second place with 15 and 11 successful bids separately.

The main target of this bidding was radial tire, in- cluding 4,000 units of 9.00R20-16PR tires, 900 units of 12.00R20-20PR tires, 620 units of 205/55R16 (symmetric patterned) tires, 400 units of 10.00R20-18PR tires, 300 units of 14.00R20/2190N special tires, 280 units of 265/65R17 tires and 260 units of 225/55R17 tires.

In addition, the products for bidding also included 500 bias tires in three categories, for which Double Coin Holdings Ltd., Aeolus Tyre Co., Ltd. and China National Chemical Shu- guang Rubber Industry Research & Design Institute Co., Ltd. won the bidding. Its main products were 100 units of 12.00-20- 18PR tires, 200 units of 12.00-20-20PR tires and 200 units of 14.00-20-20PR tires.
