Henan Gem Resources Recycling Co., Ltd. was granted the permission of record registration by investment authority for its 100,000-ton tire regeneration & recycle project on December 4, 2015.

This project is located at Lankao County industry cluster district, Henan Province, covering an area of 330 mu. The total investment is 320 Million Yuan, including 140 Million Yuan self-raised by Gem and the rest 180 Million Yuan needed to be loaned from domestic banks. The construction period is 2 years and it is estimated to be completed and put into operation in November 2017.

By adopting the techniques such as low-temperature decomposition, etc., Gem turns the crushed tires into tire-making oil, splitting decomposition carbon black and combustible gas. As tire is mixed with several kinds of carbon black, the carbon black can be split from rubber through low-temperature decomposition and turned into splitting decomposition carbon black needed in the market afterwards by carbon black preparation technology while the combustible gas produced during this process can be recycled, achieving the integrated utilization of waste tires.
