Dalian Latex Co., Ltd., with over 50 years’ history, will be moved to Dalian Gulf Industrial Area in Pulandian, 70km away from the old plant in Shahekou District, in order to meet the requirements of environmental protection and energy saving.
This removal is conducted based on the policy of Building before Moving without Suspending Production. The new plant covers an area of 39,949 m2, within which it is planned to newly increase 5 advanced condom production lines (one reserved), 3 gloves production lines (one reserved), 12 automatic condom detection production lines, 2 automatic gloves packing lines as well as other auxiliary equipment and communal facilities. After the completion of the project, it will produce 500 million natural rubber latex condoms (including 50 million patented products), 30 million pairs of disposable sterilized rubber surgical gloves and 35 million pairs of disposable medical rubber examination gloves yearly.
Besides the leading product of condoms, Dalian Latex Co., Ltd. also manufactures blood transfusion tube, medical gloves, examination gloves, household gloves, acid (alkali) industrial gloves, sealant and other latex products. In September 2007, its “Twin Lotus” natural rubber latex condom was awarded “Chinese Famous Brand” by China Brand Strategy Promotion Committee. In 2009, “anti-time” physical time-delay condom was granted national patent certificate, creating a non-drug latency pioneer for condom products.
