Zhejiang Sanwei Expanding Conveyor Belt Capacity in Other Place

Zhejiang Sanwei Rubber Item Co., Ltd. intended to invest 80 Million Yuan to build a 5.6 million m2/year conveyor belt production-line project by renting the idle plant of Zhejiang Shuangxiang Rubber Belt Co., Ltd. so as to rationally use corporate resources and maximize investment benefits.

The idle plant of Zhejiang Shuangxiang for leasing covers an area of about 8,194 m2 in Lingkou Village, Zhu’ao Town, Sanmen County. The project includes such major buildings as a rubber mixing workshop, a prilling workshop, 3 workshops for conveyor belt production and a vulcanized workshop. Its product program is to build 6 production lines (including 2 production lines for PVC and PVG flame-retardant core conveyor belt) with the capacity of 5 million m2 of steel cord conveyor belt per year and 600 thousand m2 of PVC/ PVG flame-retardant fabric core conveyor belt per year. This project is to put into operation in June 2016. The personal quota is 185 persons.

At present, Sanwei has the capacity to produce 250 million Am of rubber V-belt and 25 million m2 of conveyor belt per year. The flame-resistant conveyor belt and general fabric core conveyor belt produced by this company are recognized as the credit products for quality by China Rubber Industry Association.
