In order to meet the increasing demand for special carbon black in recent years, Guizhou Bohong Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. decided to invest 10 Million Yuan to build a new 8,000 tons/year special carbon black production line when reconstructing in new place.
Guizhou Bohong Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Shougang Shuicheng Iron & Steel Group. This project is located at Yangliu Community, Zhongshan District, Liupanshui City, covering an area of 4,789.66 m2. It adopts raw materials, anthracene oil and coke oven gas, directly from Shuigang Group, which is conductive to the intensive processing of anthracene oil and development of industrial chain. The main construction works include carbon black reaction production line, packing workshop and finished product warehouse.
Guizhou Bohong Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. had a carbon black production line in its original plant with an annual output of 6,000 tons of carbon black and 70 employees. As this site was located within the area of old city improvement project in Fenghuangshan district, Guizhou Bohong Chemical Industry had halted production with all production equipment in the plant sold by action and handed over the land to government for unified planning.
