On April 20, TUV SUD Group (hereinafter referred to as “TUV SUD”) issued benchmarking certificate of rolling resistance tester (according to EU Regulation 1235/2011) to Hangzhou Zhongce Rubber Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Zhongce”), which indicated that Zhongce passed the EU calibration of rolling resistance tester.
The cooperation between TUV SUD and Zhongce in tire testing has been for a long time, no matter in tire wet R&D performance or winter tire R&D test. The rolling resistance tester of Zhongce has passed the calibration work for two times successfully, and one more passing indicates that the performance of rolling resistance tester of Zhongce fully satisfies relevant requirements of European Regulation ECE R117 in an all-around way. Moreover, according to relevant regulations, this rolling resistance test result has also been accepted by Brazil Labeling Regulation.
EU Regulation ECE R117 clearly stipulates the part of labeling regulation, the rolling resistance tester must be calibrated with the standard tester party appointed by Europe. In this test, Zhongce selected 5 different rolling resistance tires according to the regulation to undergo the rolling resistance test with priority; the same 5 tires were delivered to Germany for re-test, and then linear regression was carried out according to the test results of both parties to calculate relevant regression coefficient. In this test result, the R squared value of Pearson Correlation Coefficient of Zhongce rolling resistance tester was 0.9955, close to 1, which indicated high precision and stability of Zhongce equipment.
