Lately, according to the requirements of Defective Automobile Products Recall Regulations, Anshan Tire Co., Ltd. filed the recall plan with the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China and decided to recall a part of common section truck bias tires produced from June 2014 to June 2015, with the specification as 6.00-13, 6.00-14, 6.00-15, 6.50-16 and 7.00-16, 1,817 units in total.
As for the tires within the scope of this recall, the tire strength did not conform to the national standard due to unqualified strength of the cord used by the carcass, thus possibly causing tire burst and having potential safety hazard. Anshan Tire Co., Ltd. would provide free sales return service for all tires within the recall scope to eliminate the potential safety hazard.
Anshan Tire Co., Ltd. entrusted all its dealers to notify relevant consumers and to prompt them to check whether the used tires were affected products.
