On September 18, the world’s first intelligent inner tube flap filling machine independently researched and developed by Qingdao Kelida Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. arrived at the purchasing company in Yantai for installation and debugging. The productivity of this machine is five times higher than traditional manual installation.

It is known that even though tire manufacturers around the world are realizing intelligent and automatic production, the last step of truck tire production procedures, inner tube flap filling, still needs manual installation. It averagely takes about 5 minutes for every worker to finish a inner tube flap filling. By this machine, only one worker is enough to finish this procedure within 1 minute.

According to Qingdao Kelida, by using infrared laser detection technology, this filling machine can achieve the intelligent seamless joint with other procedures to accurately fill the inner tube flap into the outer tube without destruction during the whole process through 4 processes including tire conveying mechanism, inner tube flap conveying mechanism, filling mechanism, output mechanism and intelligent control mechanism. With the filling machine, the labour intensity and degree of fatigue of workers can be reduced. In addition, previously per group for inner tube flap filling was about 10-15 workers and they needed to work in shifts. But after the completion and commissioning of this equipment, the number of workers for this procedure will be greatly reduced.

Though this kind of filling machine is said to be more than 1.5 Million Yuan per set, a domestic well-known tire company has purchased once it is published. Now Qingdao Kelida has successively received some orders from domestic large tire companies and four filling machines are in production.
