Yuhuang Chemical Developed a New Production Method for Carboxyl Polyisoprene Rubber

Shandong Yuhuang Chemical Co., Ltd. developed a new production method for carboxyl polyisoprene rubber. This method adopts organic peroxide as initiator and maleic anhydride as carboxylation agent to react with polyisoprene under certain condition for some time and then the reaction products will be washed for several times by appropriate solvent to obtain carboxyl polyisoprene after removing excess initiator and carboxylation agent and drying. The carboxylation polymer is colorless and transparent in appearance and has good capacity of adhesiveness with metal and fiber, which can be used as adhesive, pressure sensitive adhesive, sealant as well as for manufacture of modified latex.
