To respond to the national call for the “B&D” and implement the international strategy, under the influence of the American “antidumping and countervailing” investigation against Chinese tires, Chinese rubber tire enterprises speeded up the step of “going out”. Following the construction or operation of the overseas projects of many enterprises in 2015, many enterprises built projects abroad in 2016. For example, Shanghai Huayi (Group) and Tribeca Co., Ltd., a Thai company, signed a joint venture agreement to jointly invest USD 300 Million to build a plant with annual output of 1.50 million truck and passenger car radial tires and 50,000 industrial tires in LK-RICH Rubber Industrial Park, Rayong Province, Thailand; Qingdao Sentury Tire formally selected LaGrange, Georgia State, U.S. to make an investment of about USD 530 Million in building a plant with annual output of 12 million high-performance semi-steel radial tires in 2017; Himile (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a branch of Shandong Himile Science and Technology Co., Ltd. in Thailand, was open, which is located in Thai-Chinese Rayong Industrial Zone with an investment of nearly THB 300 Million and will produce 200 new molds and repair and transform 300 old molds monthly in the next two years; besides, Himile Indian Company has been put into trial operation. There are more and more enterprises planning to “go out” to realize the international operation.
