Lately, Prinx Chengshan (Shandong) Tire Company Ltd. developed a VAC (Vacuum Absorb Convey) intelligent tread conveyor system on its own. By means of automatic detection and intelligent recognition, the system automatically loads treads onto the make-up machine from the extrusion line and intelligently conveys them onto the feeder racks, achieving fully-intelligent operation that “replaces human with machinery”, thus improving product quality, lowering the labor intensity of workers and increasing productivity and intelligent degree of equipment.
By setting up the intelligent tread loading platform, AGV intelligent transport vehicle and tread intelligent robot, the system achieves the complete connection of the intelligent conveyor system of half-finished tread products. The system has the following characteristics: tight equipment structure and minor alteration of the original equipment that is good for the promotion of old factories; small amount of investment in that normal production needs can be met by using the original louver vehicles without custom-making new ones; no human intervention needed from the process of tread extrusion to that of tread molding and fitting, literally achieving automatic and intelligent operation. Problems are reduced in terms of half-finished product pollution, stretching, deformation, etc. that are caused by human intervention; it’s also characterized by saving human resources, lowering labor intensity for workers and increasing productivity.
The product lowers the labor intensity by 55% for workers and decreased the operators by 30%. It also increases dynamic equilibrium of tires by over 15%, reaching the level-three American export standard, which sets a successful example for the tire industry at home in terms of the intelligent transformation and upgrading of half-finished tread products and has widespread demonstration effects within the industry.
