On December 1, 2016, the construction of the intelligent stereoscopic warehousing distribution center of Shandong Fengyuan Tire Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was started, marking a further step of this company on the road of building “Industry 4.0”.
It is known that this distribution center covers an area of about 17,000 square meters. After completion of the construction, there will be 40,000 tire freight lots which can store 1 million tires. It plans to use 18 gantry robots for automatic stacking and loading as well as 12 stacking machines for automatic distribution and storage. The management system WMS will realize seamless connection with the MES and ERP systems of this company.
