The First Three Technology Centers in the Conveyor Belt Industry Identified by China Rubber Industry Association

To strengthen the innovation ability of the industry, China Rubber Industry Association (“CRIA”) carried out the identification of the technology center of the industry and the contracted inspection and test center of CRIA. On January 23, CRIA identified the first three technology centers in the conveyor belt field by Zhong Xiang Xie Zi [2017] No. 9 Document.

Three technology centers of the industry have all been strictly elected and inspected by CRIA. They all have their own characteristics and specialities with respectively focused research directions, which are Technology Center of Zhejiang Double Arrow Rubber Co., Ltd., which is identified as the Energy-saving and Eco-friendly Conveyor Belt Technology Center of the Chinese Rubber Industry; Qingdao Rubber Six Conveyor Belt Co., Ltd., which is identified as the High-strength Conveyor Belt Technology Center of the Chinese Rubber Industry; and Yangquan Coal Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. Aolun Rubber Belts Branch, which is identified as the Mining Conveyor Belt Technology Center of the Chinese Rubber Industry.

It is learnt that CRIA comes up with the idea of identifying the technology centers of those companies with strong innovation ability and outstanding innovation achievements which provide generic technology services for the industry and play an important demonstration and guiding role in main specialities of the industry as the technology centers (contracted inspection and test centers) of the Chinese Rubber Industry to give full play to the leading and demonstration functions of technology centers (contracted inspection and test centers) of the industry in the technical innovation system and corporate innovation ability construction of the rubber industry. Besides, CRIA also assists such centers obtaining the corresponding policy support to encourage and lead the technology centers of the industry to continuously improve the independent innovation ability and promote the overall technical progress of the Chinese rubber industry.
