ExxonMobil announced on March 1 to add a modern testing room for tire testing function-Inflation Pressure Loss Rate (IPLR) in Shanghai Technology Center, which can assess the tire pressure loss rate over time.

This facility makes the global network layout of ExxonMobil Tire Technical Support Center more reasonable (the other two are located in Baytown, Texas, USA and Bangalore, India respectively) and contributes to meet the increasing quality standard of customers.

These new testing functions also make ExxonMobil closer to its customers and better serve their needs. The modern testing room for IPLR test has far surpassed the requirements of American Society for Testing Materials.

Shanghai Technology Center, set up in 2011 with the building area of about 27,000 m² , has advanced analyzing and testing lab equipment and commercial scale products processing equipment to provide wide range of services to customers. Recently, this center has invested millions of dollars for expansion, which includes the construction of a new advanced R&D building.
