Recently, Dunlop released its first wide-base tire product in China-SP261 for trailer wheels with the size of 425/65R22.5, which is applicable to middle and long distance fixed-load trucks.
As for product structure design, this product is designed with five longitudinal pattern blocks to make sure the stability and good heat dissipation under transport condition; the wide tread can increase the abradability so as to prolong the service life; the wide tire shoulder and longitudinal tread pattern can make sure the excellent eccentric wear resistance; and the straight main groove improves the drainage to ensure the safety.
This wide-base product meets the needs of current motorcades or vehicle owners for fuel prudent, environmental protection and decreasing operating costs. The features that changing dual wheel installation into single wheel installation can lower the rolling resistance, which as a result, achieves excellent oil-saving performance; reducing weight of tire and wheel hub also reduces the weight of vehicle and increases the load capacity consequently; simplifying air pressure management and tire change increases the performance of tire maintenance and servicing; and decreasing waste tires reduces the burden on environment and accordingly improves the environmental protection performance.
