Lately, the technological improvement project on waste gas emission of Evonik Wellink Silica (Nanping) Co., Ltd. passed inspection and acceptance by the environmental protection authority in Nanping City, Fujian Province.
It is learned that as the previous facilities for treating smoke-gas from hot-blast stoves had failed to meet requirements of the standard, Evonik Wellink invested RMB 15 Million Yuan in improving waste gas emission facilities. After the project improvement was completed, an environment monitoring company checked and accepted the total amount control over emission of waste water, waste gas, factory boundary noise and major pollutants.
Set up in 2006, Evonik Wellink Silica (Nanping) Co., Ltd. is a joint venture established by Nanping Jialian Chemical Co., Ltd. and Evonik Degussa (China) Co., Ltd. under Evonik Industries AG (EVONIK). The Company works mainly on R&D, production and marketing of white carbon black series products with an annual capacity of 80,000 tons of white carbon black.
