The Project of Shenyang Bridgestone on Relocation and Building a New Manufacturing Base Passed Inspection and Accept- ance

Lately, the environmental authority in Shenyang made a decision of inspecting and accepting the completed project of Shenyang Bridgestone Co., Ltd. on relocation and building a new manufacturing base and it passed inspection and acceptance.

According to the inspection and acceptance report, the new factory covered an area of 41,371.67 m2. The old factory was moved to the new address in two phases. RMB 263.84 Million Yuan was invested in the first-phase project inspected and accepted this time. The construction started on September 30, 2013 and was completed one year later. Production started along with the relocation from October 2015 and ended in October 2016. The labor capacity of the project was 369, including 49 newly added persons besides the previous 320 ones. The capacity of products was still producing 100,000 rubber belt tracks and 5,000 sets of rubber fenders every year.

The project optimized the product structure, superseded some old facilities, raised the level of technologies and equipment, and enhanced the capability of developing and industrializing new varieties of technologies and products. RMB 21.409 Million Yuan has been invested in environmental protection to ensure that the Company is able to provide energy-conserving and environment-friendly rubber products with higher technological levels.

It is learned that Shenyang Bridgestone Co., Ltd. was set up in 1989. It is one of the earliest joint ventures that Bridgestone (Japan) established in China. Also, it is the only fender manufacturing base and the most important overseas rubber belt truck production factory of Bridgestone (Japan).
