General Science to Set up a Company in North America and to Expand All-Steel Tire Capacity at Home

Two great decisions were made by Jiangsu General Science Technology Co., Ltd. on August 3, which were to set up a wholly-owned subsidiary in America with the registered capital of less than USD 5 Million and to build an all-steel radial tire project with an annual output of 1.2 million tires by investing about 1.2 Billion Yuan at home.

The wholly-owned subsidiary, registered in Georgia, America, was tentatively named as General Rubber (North America) Co., Ltd. Its business scope covers the R&D, sale, import and export of rubber, rubber products and tires.

The all-steel radial tire project phase III being constructed by General Science is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2~3 years, which will build intelligentized and automatic production lines, comprehensively improving the productivity and product quality.
