Haida and Tesla Signed Sealing Part Purchasing Contract

Lately, Jiangyin Haida Rubber and Plastic Co., Ltd. received a confirmation E-mail form US Tesla Company, which marked that the solar roof sealing part purchasing contract signed between both parties officially came into effect.

This contract is an open-end contract and the amount shall be subject to the final actual settlement. According to Haida, this contract will not exert a great impact on its 2017 annual performance, but it is important for them to pass Tesla’s assessment and enter into the supplier system, which will lay a foundation for cooperating with Tesla on other business units and also bring positive effects on expanding Haida’s other business related to solar energy.

On August 8, Haida received a nomination letter of suppliers from FAW-Volkswagen Automobile Co, Ltd. and was confirmed as a bulk supplier of two categories of products, sealing strips for door opening and anti-vibrating lifting lug, for Project BC316 of EBO Purchasing Department. The relevant vehicle models are expected to come into market in bulk in 2019, and the estimated accumulated sales revenue is over 500 Million Yuan within the product life cycle, which brings a positive impact on the company for further expanding automobile market space.

With sealing parts for automobile skylight of many vehicle models, such as Audi (A6, A4, A3, A1, Q3 and Q5), Golf, Bora, Sagitar, Magotan, Tiguan, Phideon and Teramont, Haida has become a tier-2 supplier of Volkswagen.
