Intelligent Rim Band of Inner Tube of Tire Filling Technology Came into Being

On January 27, the intelligent rim band of inner tube of tire filling technology developed independently by Qingdao Kelida Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. passed the appraisal for technological achievements by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation. The company also succeeded in developing the intelligent rim band of inner tube filling machine.

This technology and product have filled the blank of the global rubber industry in the field. They will change the production method of manually filling rim bands of inner tubes in the process of producing truck tires. It is learned that manual filling roughly requires every shift to include 10~15 workers, and it takes about three minutes to complete filling one rim band of inner tube. Such procedures are inefficient, costly, and more importantly, having the risk of causing workers to suffer from occupational diseases.

The intelligent rim band of inner tube filling machines, falling into two types of single machine and compound type, are exclusively used for truck tire manufacturers to fill rim bands and inner tubes intelligently and autonomously into outer tire cavity before the finished tires are put in storage or leave the factory. Among which, the filling efficiency of the single machine equipment is 100/h, whereas the filling efficiency of the compound type equipment, or the double machine type, is 200/h, four times higher than that of manual filling. Moreover, only one person is needed to operate the whole machine of either type.

This filling machine has a function of intelligent recognition. By autonomously scanning the electronic label on tires, the function of randomly filling tires of different specifications can be achieved, which is capable of both connecting tire conveying and sorting lines, and being used independently as a single machine. Meanwhile, this filling machine is equipped with MES interface, which can be connected to various mainstream ERP systems and autonomous warehouse management SMT systems. It is learned that by virtue of its high production efficiency, this filling machine has been purchased by famous tire factories such as Linglong and Sailun as soon as it came into the market. Multiple orders have also been successively placed for it from large tire factories at home.
