On April 19, the Ministry of Commerce issued the No. 39 Announcement of 2018, promulgating preliminary ruling on anti-dumping investigations of imported HIIR originating in United States, European Union and Singapore.

The Ministry of Commerce preliminarily ruled that the imported HIIR originating in United States, European Union and Singapore was dumped in China and the domestic HIIR industry was substantially damaged. And there was a close relationship between dumping and substantial damage, so it was decided to implement temporary anti-dumping measures in the form of margin for the imported HIIR originating in United States, European Union and Singapore.

According to the ruling, from April 20, 2018, the HIIR importers shall provide a margin to China Customs when they import HIIR from the above regions according to the dumping degree (26.0%-66.5%) of each company determined by the ruling.

It’s learned that in response to the application from the domestic HIIR industry, the Ministry of Commerce published the announcement on August 30, 2017, deciding to carry out anti-dumping investigation on imported HIIR originating in United States, European Union and Singapore. The Chinese tariff serial numbers of this product are 40023910 and 40023990.
