Jiangsu General Science Technology Co., Ltd. announced on April 19 that it intended to set up a wholly-owned subsidiary in Cambodia and start a high-performance radial tire project with the investment of less than USD 300 Million, which would be the first oversea tire manufacturing base for Jiangsu General Science Technology. Meanwhile, in order to promote globalization, the company will establish another wholly-owned subsidiary in Singapore after the establishment of its U.S. branch.

This plant will be located at Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone (SSEZ), the largest industrial park of Cambodia developed and built by the leading Hodo Group, a controlling shareholder of General Science Technology Co., Ltd. As the only national-level economic zone recognized by the governments of China and Cambodia, the SSEZ is featured by remarkable investment advantages, open economic structure and exclusive preferential policies.

The high-performance radial tire project includes annual output of 1 million all-steel radial tires and 6 million semi-steel radial tires. The construction period is 1.5 years.
