Recently, Goodyear restarted the construction of the 5th expansion project, in which 570 Million Yuan would be invested this year. After operation in 2022, there will be increased 5 million units of radial tires for passenger car use.
This project, located at Dalian Haiwan Industrial Area and started construction in November 2016 with the total investment of USD 485 Million, will newly expand the building area of 56.7thousand m2 for the construction of rubber material preparing workshop, tire molding workshop, etc., for which 33 sets of equipment are introduced from abroad and 89 sets are purchased at home. The construction period is from February 2017 to December 2022.
