As mentioned in 2018 work report, Shenyang government had boosted more than 1,000 projects with investment exceeding 100 Million Yuan each in the whole year, among which the continued construction project of Michelin Shenyang Tire Co., Ltd. for expansion of annual 6 million high-performance radial tire was sure to be resumed completely before the end of June.
The expansion project receives investment of more than 2.2 Billion Yuan, including 66 Million Yuan for environmental protection, and covers an area of 130 mu. It will optimize the existing space in the plant, therefore there is not any new extra use of land. In addition to utilizing the used equipment, this project will have another 3 five-compound extrusion lines, 3 single rubber extrusion lines, 1 steel wine cutting machine, 1 ber curtain cutting machine, 7 tire building machines and 75 vulcanizing machines.
Major raw and auxiliary materials consumption includes 17 thousand tons of natural rubber, 13 thousand tons of synthetic rubber, 19 thousand tons of carbon black/ silicon oxide, 8 thousand tons of wirecord fabric and 4 thousand tons of ber fabric.
