In mid-June, the “Belt and Road” Uzbekistan project which Yiyang Rubber & Plastics Machinery Group Co., Ltd. was involved in successfully passed the acceptance, and its two projects of conveyor belt and tire in this project were both completed.
The “Belt and Road” Uzbekistan project was technically contracted by Beijing Rubber Industry Research Design Institute in September 2016. Yiyang Rubber & Plastics Machinery undertook the design and manufacture of rubber refining equipment GK-400N mixer in tire project, GK-190E mixer and 2.2m×10.6m steel cord conveyor belt curing press production line in conveyor belt project. Thereinto, the tire project is Uzbekistan’s first tire project, and the conveyor belt project is the first steel cord conveyor belt curing press production line project in Uzbekistan. The commissioning of the project has rewritten the history of Uzbekistan’s inability to produce steel cord conveyor belt.
