On May 27, great news arrived at Ningxia Shenzhou Tire Co., Ltd. The homemade radial aircraft tire independently developed and produced by the company for large plane officially rolled off the production line.
In August 2018, Ningxia Shenzhou Tire, Zhejiang University and other well-known institutions set up an aircraft tire R&D team, officially launching the independent R&D project of homemade radial aircraft tire for large plane. The production line is currently relatively advanced in China, and the processes, materials and testing methods used are at the leading level. The products are very successful in detecting from appearance to air bubbles. The new off-line tire carcass uses a new high-strength cord that not only ensures sufficient strength of carcass, but also reduces the weight of tire.
Ningxia Shenzhou Tire Phase I project currently has an annual production capacity of 2.4 million sets of tires. The product range covers light truck and truck tires, as well as general-section and wide-base tires, etc., making it an important tire production base in Northwest China.
