MESNAC: First OAPS System was Successfully Developed

As the automatic degree of mixing workshop of rubber industry becomes higher and higher, after wide application of full automatic ingredient weighing system, the production mode of online automatic weighing, automatic transportation, automatic sorting and online automatic feeding of ingredients and materials has become an irresistible trend.

This production mode changes the current status of “equipment islet” of ingredient and mixing production line of traditional mixing workshop, realizes “zero inventory” or “minimum inventory” of ingredient weighing system and also generates the demand of online coordination of production plans of one or multiple ingredient weighing systems and multiple mixing production lines. Therefore, Online Advanced Planning and Scheduling (OAPS) comes into being.

Ingredient OAPS system independently developed by MESNAC is a production control system based on application layer of production equipment system of mixing workshop as well as the first advanced online planning and scheduling system independently developed by the equipment suppliers of rubber industry. It connects one or multiple full automatic ingredient weighing systems or multiple mixing production lines through logistics, thus realizing online real-time pull production of full automatic ingredient weighing system.

When various mixing production lines receive the production plan from MES system or added locally artificially, they will initiatively deliver their respective information such as production plan and mixing cycle to OAPS system in a real-time way, OAPS system will carry out online scheduling of the production plan demands of multiple mixing production lines according to the given algorithm and carry out self prediction, self adaption as well as deep optimization and dynamic and real-time adjustment of the scheduling result to realize that the ingredient weighing system satisfies the plan demands of multiple mixing production lines.

More than that, OAPS also possesses whole-process data collection and analysis function to provide powerful support for future equipment perfection and production optimization. Moreover, without relying on the MES system mode, OAPS system can also realize equipment linkage in mixing workshop, thus lowering the total costs of the customers for realizing automatic and intelligent production. Compared with traditional APS system, OAPS system of MESNAC possesses the functions such as online dynamic adjustment, self adaption and self prediction as well as the advantages such as high pertinence, strong enforceability, more specific planning and control and higher system reliability.

MESNAC’s research and development of ingredient OAPS system largely improves the automatic and intelligent degree of mixing workshop and lays a solid foundation for overall realization of intelligent mixing. At present, the R&D achievement of First Phase of this system has been completed and put into service in F customer and won high recognition of the customer. Subsequently, MESNAC team will enhance the pertinence of R&D to satisfy the demands of more production modes and customers.
