In November 2019, the project of 30 thousand tons/year new and high-performance carbon black and 6000kW exhaust gas power generation launched by Xinjiang Junxin Chemical Co., Ltd. passed the acceptance inspection. Thus, Xinjiang Junxin’s capacity of carbon black has been doubled to 60 thousand tons/year and its major products are N115, N220, N234 and N330.
The project, with the investment of 112.92 Million Yuan, among which the environmental protection input is 6.43 Million Yuan, accounting for 5.69% of the total, started in September 2018 in Baicheng Industrial Park, Xinjiang, and was expected to complete and put into operation at the beginning of April 2019.
Around the company, there are many petrochemical enterprises and coke making enterprises. Based on Xinjiang Dushanzi Petrochemical Plant, Bayi Iron & Steel Group Coking Branch Plant, Zhongtai Coal Coking Co., Ltd. and Fengfeng Coal Coking Co., Ltd., the company gains abundant resources and raw materials from the by-products of coking projects, such as coke oven gas, coal tar and anthracene oil.
The capacity of the company is reported to include the project of 30-thousand tons/year carbon black with new process and the supporting 3MW exhaust gas power generation project as well as the project of 3-thousand tones/year semi-reinforcing furnace black by natural gas-furnace process.
