The “Development of Matched Tires of New Wheeled Rail Transit” Project of Doublecoin Group Shanghai Tire Institute Co., Ltd. not only filled domestic gap, but also was listed in 2020 Scientific Guiding Program of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association recently.
Small turning radius of railway vehicles is likely to result in abnormal wear of the tires and reasonable product design can improve abnormal wear, which depends on the dynamic characteristics of matching between vehicles and tires. According to the technical requirements of the vehicles for rail transit, Doublecoin developed and introduced zero-degree winding equipment required by debugging manufacturing of rail tires; formed design and process of rail transit tire products to independently develop and design 305/70R22.5, 6.00R9 and 445/65R22.5 rail tires. By developing new pattern and slippery-resistant tread compound, the traction of the tire is greatly improved, thus ensuring the driving safety.
