Hainan invests ten million to support the comprehensive utilization of used tires

In September, the Hainan Provincial Development and Reform Commission issued the "Notice of the National Development and Reform Commission on Issuing a Special Project for Pollution Control and Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction (Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction) in the 2021 Central Budget Investment Plan" (Development and Reform Investment [2021] No. 1261). The investment plan of 10.3 million yuan in the central budget for pollution control, energy conservation and carbon reduction in 2021 will be used to support the comprehensive recycling and utilization of waste tires in Changjiang.

It is understood that the project is located in Changjiang Chahe circular economy industrial park, covering an area of 20,000 square meters and a total construction area of 9,415.50 square meters. The project is divided into two phases. The first phase of the project mainly constructs infrastructure supporting facilities such as 2 workshops, 1 office building and oil tank farm, with an annual treatment of 30,000 tons of waste tires. In phase II, a new cracking production equipment is built in the plant of phase I, with an annual treatment of 30,000 tons of waste tires. Two cracking waste tire production lines have been built in phase I and phase II of the project, with an annual output of 27,000 tons of semi reinforced carbon black, 22,800 tons of by-product fuel oil and 6,800 tons of steel wire.
