Guizhou Tire expansion project accepted

On October 18, Guizhou Tire's "Solid Tire Expansion Project" EIA document was accepted.

The construction site of the project is located in Zhazuo Industrial Park, Xiuwen County, Guiyang City, and will be constructed in the special tire workshop of the second phase of the existing Guizhou Tire factory.

The total investment of the project is 23,916,700 yuan, and the construction period is about 6 months. Construction is expected to start in November and be completed and put into operation in May 2022.

The project added 20 vulcanizers (including three 1,000-ton solid tire curing presses and 17 800-ton solid tire curing presses), and added two 800-ton automatic in and out solid tire mold machines.

By increasing the production capacity of the vulcanization section, Guizhou Tire has achieved an increase of 168,000 sets/year of solid tires (product weight 8072 tons) to meet the increasing market demand for solid tires in the domestic and international markets. Among them, the capacity of 6.50-10/5.00 specifications is 93,600 sets, and the capacity of 28×9-15/7.00 specifications is 74,400 sets.

Guizhou Tire produces solid tires in five series and more than 650 specifications, with an annual production capacity of 500,000 sets. The main supporting suppliers include Heli, Hangcha, Xiamen Linde, Japan's Mitsubishi, Hyster, and more than a dozen international and domestic brands. In recent years, with the optimization of product design and structural adjustments, product quality and appearance levels have greatly improved, and the supporting market and maintenance market have been expanding day by day, and the solid tire of Guizhou tire is in short supply.
