Sailun Cambodia's annual 9 million sets high-performance PCR tires plant officially put into production

On November 18, the commissioning ceremony of the annual production capacity of 9 million sets of high performance semi-steel radial tires project of Sailun Cambodia Tire Co.

Affected by the epidemic, this ceremony was held by remote video with more than 40 sub-channels around the world, with the Cambodian site interacting with the Group headquarters across the sky to celebrate this special milestone point together. Relevant leaders and colleagues from the industrial chain of Sailun Group and National Rubber and Tire Engineering Technology Research Center (hereinafter referred to as: National Rubber Center) witnessed this exciting moment together with the project personnel from the venue in Cambodia.

The Sailun CART factory is another important initiative of Sailun Group's globalization strategy layout. Since the construction started at the beginning of March 2021, the builders of Sailun Group have overcome difficulties and worked hard to overcome various unfavorable factors such as the epidemic, high temperature and humidity, etc., and achieved the first tire off the line on November 1 and the smooth production on November 18, showing once again the "Sailun speed" and "Sailun power" to the world. Once again, it showed the "speed" and "power" to the world.

The newly-built Sailun CART factory has a planned annual capacity of 9 million sets of high-performance semi-steel radial tires, which will help Sailun to better expand the international market, meet the needs of overseas customers and enhance the core competitiveness of Chinese tire brands in the international market after it is put into operation.

The successful commissioning of Sailun CART factory also means that Sailun has built the first tire production base in the history of Cambodia, and it is a modern tire production base with intelligent equipment and advanced management concept, which is of great significance to implement the national development strategy of "One Belt, One Road" and promote the international and domestic dual cycle.
