Beijing (May 15, 2012) – Hankook claims to be the leading tyre maker in the Chinese market, according to a long interview posted on the CRIA Chinese version website.
The interview quoted Li Bingzhen of Hankook Tire China saying the combined annual output of Hankook's first two plants in China -- Jiaxing, Zhejiang and Jiangsu Huai'an – is 30 million. A third pant in Chongqing will add a further 12 million units. IN addition to this local capacity, Hankook's operations in Korea can produce 40 million units annually.
